PUP books around the Web

Campaign for the American Reader asks Gaming the World author Andrei Markovits what he is reading.

Afghanistan: A Cultural and Political History
may be leading PUP books for summer reading material. First, New Yorker editor David Remnick gives a quick shout-out on Critical Mass, the National Book Critics Circle blog, then History News Network names it Book of the Month, and lastly Current Intelligence contributor Katherine Tiedemann lists it first!

I missed this earlier this month, but Religion Book Line reviewed A Short History of the Jews very favorably.

Check out UP Video on facebook. It is described as “A community seeking to share knowledge on producing and posting DIY video for scholarly, literary, and university-press publishing.” Princeton University Press has been tiptoe-ing in this direction for a while now. You can see some of our offerings here.
