Papers from the Eranos Yearbooks

Edited by Joseph Campbell

Beginning in 1933, the Eranos-Jahrbücher, originally edited by the late Olga Froebe-Kapteyn, presented the lectures delivered annually at the Eranos conferences at Ascona, Switzerland, by scholars invited from Europe, Asia, and America. Translated selections from the Jahrbücher, based on central themes, make up these volumes. The subjects range through philosophy, religion, ethnology, psychology, the natural sciences, and art.
