Frontiers of Economic Research

David M. Kreps, Thomas J. Sargent, and Paul Klemperer, General Editors

Frontiers of Economic Research is designed to promote leading-edge economic research using the monograph format, thus allowing fuller exposition than is usually possible in journal articles, without sacrificing timeliness or rigor. In addition to bringing together excellent work in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and other aspects of the field's mainstream, the series seeks to include works from those related areas, including finance, public choice, economic sociology, and organizational economics, which are now helping to remake the research agenda of economics. Although the series is intended primarily to showcase works of original research, it will also include more synthetic works as well.
