This speaker and book series showcases public intellectuals writing about social justice issues. Composed of both political writers and academics, it will feature the public intellectual who has a voice that resonates inside and outside the academy. These public intellectuals will write artful, accessible, and analytical essays to helpshape and frame national debates about American politics, law, and ideas. Each speaker will give a talk at the Graduate Center. Princeton University Press will publish the books.
