Some users of the Google Chrome browser may find that it does not follow the links in the PDF Map-by-Map Directory. In such cases, two steps are necessary to enable this capability. First, Adobe Reader has to be installed on the computer. Second, you have to enter "about:plugins" (without the quotes) on Chrome's address line and press enter, which brings up a list of all the installed plugins, each with a link that you can click to disable it. Down toward the bottom of the list is "Chrome PDF Viewer" (which when engaged has priority over the Adobe Reader). Click the disable link and the entry grays out, the word "disabled" appears at the top, and the label of the link changes to "enable". This makes Adobe Reader the default PDF viewer and allows the links in the Map-by-Map Directory to function as they should.
