Princeton University Press opened its European office in January 2000, in Woodstock, just outside Oxford, England.

The office provides both editorial and marketing services for the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Indian sub-continent. Its editors acquire books for approval by the Princeton editorial board and worldwide publication. There are three acquisitions editors in this office: Al Bertrand, Ben Tate, and Kim Williams (focusing on translations).

The European office also enables us to more effectively support our publicity, sales, and marketing effort in Europe. Its Marketing Department, headed by Caroline Priday, deals with all European review media, supports the European sales team with promotional materials, and also arranges for exhibitions at major academic conferences in the UK and Europe.

The European sales team (also representing the University Presses of California and Columbia) is headed by Andrew Brewer (andrew.brewer 'at' virgin.net).

Our books are available directly to booksellers and customers from our distribution centre in England (John Wiley and Sons Ltd).
