A Note from the Editor
Princeton University Press is proud to have among its authors some of the most important figures in twentieth-century mathematics. We will continue this emphasis on excellence into the new millennium as we build on the past and expand into new areas of mathematics.
Writing a book is a very personal experience. It is our hope that your experience with Princeton University Press will be an enjoyable one. We personally work with every author we publish, throughout the process of writing and producing a book. We want the experience to be a positive one for every author. And we believe that no other publisher serves its authors better.
We will be happy to provide additional information and answer any questions you have. We thank all of you who read-and write-our books and look forward to working with you in the future.
