David Edmonds at The Booking Club Live, LondonThe Murder of Professor Schlick

Join author David Edmonds and the host of The Booking Club podcast, Jack Aldane, to discuss one of David’s most recent books - The Murder of Professor Schlick - at Paradise, his favourite Indian restaurant based in Hampstead, London.

The Murder of Professor Schlick traces the rise and fall of the Vienna Circle — an influential group of brilliant thinkers led by the immortalised Schlick, which sought to do away with metaphysics and pseudoscience in a city darkened by fascism, anti-Semitism, and unreason.

In addition to experiencing a live book talk with the author, audience members will have served to them a buffet containing Paradise’s signature dishes, including one named after David himself.

The talk will culminate in an audience Q&A, followed by a casual book signing at Daunt Books next door to Paradise, where copies of the The Murder of Professor Schlick can be purchased.
