Join Roland Betancourt, professor of art history at the University of California, Irvine, and author of Byzantine Intersectionality: Sexuality, Gender, and Race in the Middle Ages, and Kristina Wilson, professor of art history at Clark University and author of Mid-Century Modernism and the American Body: Race, Gender, and the Politics of Power in Design, as they discuss how they used visual and written records to provide correctives to conventional histories of race, gender, and identity.
