Join Roland Betancourt, professor of art history at the University of California, Irvine, and author of Byzantine Intersectionality: Sexuality, Gender, and Race in the Middle Ages, and Kristina Wilson, professor of art history at Clark University and author of Mid-Century Modernism and the American Body: Race, Gender, and the Politics of Power in Design, as they discuss how they used visual and written records to provide correctives to conventional histories of race, gender, and identity. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
