How to Request an Exam or Desk Copy

On behalf of Princeton University Press, Ingram Academic processes exam and desk copy requests of print books that are shipped to qualified instructors in the United States and Canada. Find your title(s) at https://ingramacademic.com/. Once you've found a book you'd like to request, select "Request Desk Copy" or "Request Exam Copy" on the book page.

To request an exam copy for Latin America, please e-mail your name, course details, and university contact information to: exam_copy@press.princeton.edu

Fees

$5.00 USD per paperback exam copy
$10.00 USD per hardcover exam copy
Qualified professors in the United States and Canada are entitled to desk copies of adopted titles based on the total enrollment for the class.
Enrollment 1-30 = One (1) desk copy
Enrollment 31-50 = Two (2) desk copies
Enrollment 51+ = Three (3) desk copies

We will make certain core textbooks available to qualified faculty at no charge. These books will be identified on the Ingram website.

Guidelines

All exam copies are shipped via UPS. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Please provide a street address. Backorders

If you place an exam copy request for a book that has not yet been published, we will backorder your request for twelve (12) months. If the book you requested is temporarily out of stock, we will backorder your request for 90 days.

Solutions or Instructor's Manual Requests

Most manuals for Princeton University Press textbooks are available in electronic format. Printed manuals are a print on demand item. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing and delivery. Please email your name, institution, a complete university shipping address, course name, enrollment, semester, book title, ISBN and or author to exam_copy@press.princeton.edu. Use subject line such as “Solution Manual Request". Subject to approval. Intended for teaching faculty only.
