I publish titles across the fields of physics and astronomy with Ingrid Gnerlich. Princeton’s list in the physical sciences connects the work of leading researchers with audiences of all kinds—from scholars, to the public, to the next generation of scientists. We seek books that inform the practice and shape the profile of the modern physical sciences, including innovative texts that influence teaching and research; exceptional monographs that synthesize research and help set agendas at the frontiers; and accessible works of popular science that educate and inspire a broad audience of lay readers. We are interested in great syntheses, books focused on recent discoveries and advances, as well as those that cross disciplinary boundaries to tackle subjects in fresh ways.
