Jeffrey H. SkevingtonField Guide to the Flower Flies

Woodstock Field Naturalists and Ingersoll District Nature Club co-host Dr. Jeff Skevington, Research Scientist, Canadian National Collection of Insects.

Join us to learn why there is a shortage of bugs in Canada today and why we should care.

When flying insects disappear, so do the birds that eat them. Insects pollinate plants that produce much of our food. Agriculture Canada estimates that while bees are the main pollinators, other insects pollinate 39% of agricultural plants. Join us for an informative evening.

Free event. Refreshments provided.
