We at PUP are committed to advancing more equitable and inclusive publishing and to supporting the meaningful interventions needed to aid this progress. With this in mind, we’re delighted to announce the launch of Princeton University Press’s Global Equity Grants. These grants will support self-identified underrepresented authors during the publication process. Categories of support will include parental/family care, travel funds, illustration and permission expenses, developmental editing, translation, proposal or manuscript workshops, supplemental advertising or marketing, and media coaching. Authors who are currently under contract, have a book in production, or published a book with PUP within the past 12 months are encouraged to apply through our website. Eligibility is one grant per book.
