We are pleased to announce a new partnership with NewSouth Books, for sales and distribution in Australia and New Zealand. The Sydney-based distributor will oversee regional marketing initiatives to trade and specialist readerships and partner closely with PUP on production for local market demands. The new partnership is effective 1st July 2020.
PUP books will continue Australia and New Zealand distribution with Footprint Books through June 30. PUP titles previously purchased from Footprint Books will not be accepted by NewSouth Books for return. Authorised returns relating to orders placed with Footprint should be sent to Footprint by 30 June 2020.
From the 1st July 2020, all orders for PUP titles should be sent to ADS (adsc@alliancedist.com.au) or please contact your NewSouth Books Account Manager.
According to International Sales Director Andrew Brewer, “As a global publisher with an international author-base, we know how significant this market is. NewSouth Books’s trade sales reach and local marketing acumen are rightly revered. Their team, led by Sales & Marketing Director Jane Kembrey, is perfectly positioned to enhance Princeton University Press’s standing in the region. We are also delighted this arrangement will allow us to work more closely with UNSW Press Chief Executive Kathy Bail, who has been such a tireless champion of the global value of university press publishing.”
PUP is thrilled to join the robust roster of NewSouth Books international distribution clients as we look ahead to maintaining and growing our presence among local readerships.
