The Equity and Inclusion Strategic Initiative, led by an Equity and Inclusion Council and established in 2018 with the approval by the Board of Trustees, is committed to creating an infrastructure for positive change toward a culture of respectful and confident collaboration. Guided by our values, Code of Conduct and the embrace of peer review in all facets of this collaboration, each of the council’s core foci (internal culture; recruitment, hiring, and retention; media and reader engagement; vendor relations; and acquisitions editorial) commits resources (human and fiscal capital) to exploring how an ethos of equity can positively impact all aspects of our publishing.
Princeton University Press is proud to offer competitive publishing internships in several departmental areas, including editorial, graphic design, publicity and sales, and production. Internships are offered during the spring, summer, and fall semesters. Each department’s internship availabilities will be posted when recruiting begins. By participating in the internship program, students observe firsthand the inner workings of a major university press and learn about all aspects of the publishing industry.
